Details: Catch a ferry and bring a faerie over the pond to Victoria for a great weekend of golf, socializing and exploring the Victorian modern era:

• Friday, September 17th:  Are you up for a great charity tournament and silent auction to kick start the weekend?  Linda MacMillan invites you to put a foursome together or just join as a single.  For $130.00 you get a fun, best ball tournament, goodie bag, fantastic (I mean it) buffet dinner, skill prize contests, draw prizes and opportunity to bid on some wonderful silent auction items.  And you will get a $45 charitable tax receipt.  Where: Cedar Hill Golf Course, Victoria.  It has become one of my favourites - the only municipal course in the South Island it has great views of the city and some spectacular holes, especially on the back nine. www.golfcedarhill.com Start Time:  Noon - shotgun start.  I started this tournament last year to raise funds for the Family Caregivers Network Society, an organization that provides support, guidance and resources to people who provide unpaid care for an adult parent, spouse or disabled child.  NOTE:  This is a mixed men/women, gay/straight and crooked event.
• Saturday, September 18th: Where: Cordova Bay - Ridge Executive Course.  This challenging par three course is a real deal.  Only $22.00 to play 18 holes and you can hang out for a bit at Mattick’s Farm too.  I have reserved spots for 28 golfers starting at 1:00pm.  If you want to spend more money and play the big course at $89.00 (if booked 7 days in advance) I can do that for you.  www.cordovabaygolf.com
• Sunday, September 19th:Olympic View:  $82.00 (plus HST) includes cart and range balls.  $70.00 if golf and range balls only.  We have four tee times reserved for 16 people starting at 8:00 am which leaves lots of time for lunch and getting to the ferry for the trip home. This island gem is part of the Golf BC group - a challenging course with lots of deer and a signature waterfall hole.  www.golfbc.com and click on Olympic view

Coordinators – It’s easy to be a coordinator and you get complete power! Coordinators pick the golf course, notify members via e-mail, arrange for tee times to be booked, take member bookings and take care of any other event organizing issues. You will get plenty of assistance and advice.  There is no need to have meals or other social events after these outings.  If an after golf social is hosted we ask all participants to contribute $2.00 to cover cost of condiments, paper plates etc.  The events will be bring-your-own food & drinks.
